Programme Manager

We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Regional Programme Manager (RPM) who will be responsible for the administration of grant-based projects within the Middle East. The Regional Programme Manager is responsible for the compliance on all grant requirements, including programmatic and fiscal accountability, reporting and audit responsibilities.   The RPM will be supervised by the Chief of Party (COP) and will also cross-functionally report to the Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for any multi-country grants.   Suitable candidates will need to satisfy the following requirements:   University degree and or relevant professional experience required, with a post-graduate degree in humanitarian sector preferred At least 10 years of experience in a leadership position required, 5 years field management experience preferred Preferred experience in managing Disaster Response projects Ability to manage project team, delegating tasks, building capacity of team members, and supervising assigned staff. Ability to take strategic initiatives to advance the project. Ability to prepare and submit accurate reports on deadline. Ability and willingness to learn from subordinates and colleagues Aptitude for community mobilization and capacity-building    Excellent communication skills   Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic (preferred). French language desirable Must have ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment with multi-national staff. Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision, be a self-starter, team builder, innovative and demonstrate the capacity for maintaining high professional standards. Willing to travel throughout the ME and the EMEA Region
