Key Responsibilities
- Policy and Strategy Support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, strategies, and procedures that align with labour laws and the organization’s objectives.
- Ensure HR activities and operations follow the overall strategic goals of HAND Organization.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Support the recruitment process by assisting with job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant records.
- Help facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing necessary documentation and guiding them through organizational procedures.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts, performance evaluations, and leave documentation.
- Assist in archiving employee and applicant CVs in the database in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Employee Relations and Support:
- Provide assistance in addressing employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
- Support efforts to foster a positive work environment and employee engagement.
- Payroll and Benefits Support:
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of salary payments.
- Help ensure compliance with staff registration and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) requirements and assist with NSSF paperwork.
- Training and Development:
- Support the development of training plans aimed at enhancing employee skills and career development.
- Assist in organizing training sessions and maintaining training records.
- Employee Performance:
- Help support the implementation of a performance appraisal system to evaluate employee performance.
- Assist with the preparation of performance reports and monitoring employee development.
- Administrative and Compliance Tasks:
- Assist with employee vacation management, absence tracking, and issuing employee warnings.
- Help in processing employee contract renewals and terminations, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Maintain records of employee clearances and salary reviews.
- Employee Feedback and Engagement:
- Support in conducting employee satisfaction surveys and gathering feedback to improve the work environment and HR processes.
Assist in organizing employee recognition programs and team-building activities.
