Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement M&E frameworks, tools, and systems to monitor program performance.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor activities and ensure data quality.
- Collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess project outcomes and impact.
- Track progress against project indicators and provide timely feedback to program teams.
- Maintain updated project databases and ensure proper documentation of M&E processes.
- Ensure effective complaint and feedback mechanisms are in place for beneficiaries.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of data collected through feedback channels.
- Facilitate regular feedback sessions with communities to ensure accountability.
- Identify & document lessons learned, best practices, and success stories for program improvement.
- Assist in organizing learning events and workshops for staff and stakeholders.
- Support the integration of learning into program planning and design.
- Prepare and submit high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual MEAL reports.
- Provide data-driven insights to support donor reporting and proposal development.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
Capacity Building
- Train project staff on MEAL tools, data collection methodologies, and reporting standards.
- Provide ongoing technical support to field teams to enhance their MEAL capacities.
- Work closely with program, field, and management teams to align MEAL activities with project goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information management, business administration, international development, social sciences, statistics, or any other relevant field.
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation field for education or development projects or programs.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data collection, analysis, and visualization (kobo collect, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings effectively.
Additional Knowledge
- Knowledge of and commitment to principles of accountability, transparency, and learning in development programs.
- Familiarity with international standards and best practices in monitoring, evaluation, and learning within the development sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
