Key Responsibilities
Provide Shelter Training and fire awareness sessions to beneficiaries in accordance with HAND’s SOPs and guidance
Assist in the distribution of shelter materials according to the established plans.
Supervise casual laborers during field implementation.
Participate in field needs assessments for shelter activities, collaborating with facilitators and coordinating with the shelter officer and shelter manager.
Guarantee the respect of Minimum International Standard as communicated by line manager and HAND guidelines.
and validate the works implemented by the beneficiaries or contractor.
Supervise contractors in the implementation of activities and provide technical guidance as needed.
Ensure the identification and referrals of needs following HAND’s guidelines and in collaboration with line manager.
Ensure compliance with HAND’s strategies and methodologies at field level, follow up and adhere to available SoPs and Guidelines.
Participate in the RNA (Rapid Needs Assessment) when requested by line manager.
Support other HAND teams, if requested by the line manager.
Participate in data entry for shelter-related activities.
Participate in team workshops and lessons learnt sessions.
Perform any other related task.

Mandatory requirements
Language skills: Fluent in Arabic and English.
Education degree Bachelor of Civil Engineering/Architecture or relevant engineering degree.
Work experience: Experience in NGOs/private sector for one to 2 years in shelter field.
Computer skills: Good knowledge of MS Office software including Word and Excel
