Job Purpose:

He is responsible for developing curriculum and lesson plans and working with coordinators to facilitate the implementation of education plans for refugee children.

 

Roles And Responsibilities:

  • Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
  • Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
  • Creating, assigning, and grading various assessments for students, including tests, quizzes, essays, and projects
  • Encouraging students to explore learning opportunities and career paths
  • To implement the designated curriculum completely and in due time
  • To demonstrate non-discriminatory working practices and to encourage this in others
  • To be fully aware of, and adhere to, Hand’s rules, policies, and procedures and to ensure their implementation

Skills:

  • Advanced technology skills to track student attendance and grades and present creative lessons
  • Leadership skills and patience for working with students of all age
  • Strong public speaking and oral presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others and clearly express complex ideas

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in the related subject
  • At least three years of teaching experience in the Lebanese English curriculum in schools
  • Experience in using computer programs (word, excel, power point) e-mails, and online education platforms.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic
