Job Purpose:
He is responsible for developing curriculum and lesson plans and working with coordinators to facilitate the implementation of education plans for refugee children.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
- Creating, assigning, and grading various assessments for students, including tests, quizzes, essays, and projects
- Encouraging students to explore learning opportunities and career paths
- To implement the designated curriculum completely and in due time
- To demonstrate non-discriminatory working practices and to encourage this in others
- To be fully aware of, and adhere to, Hand’s rules, policies, and procedures and to ensure their implementation
Skills:
- Advanced technology skills to track student attendance and grades and present creative lessons
- Leadership skills and patience for working with students of all age
- Strong public speaking and oral presentation skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with others and clearly express complex ideas
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in the related subject
- At least three years of teaching experience in the Lebanese English curriculum in schools
- Experience in using computer programs (word, excel, power point) e-mails, and online education platforms.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic
