Website Developer - Job Description

Job Summary:

The "Website Developer" will be responsible for creating a new, user-friendly, secure, and responsive website in Arabic and English, optimized for fundraising activities via Odoo system

Responsibilities:

Website Development

- Review, Consult, and Recommend:

 - Provide recommendations for redesigning the website and addressing usability and technical requirements.

  - Advise on web traffic analysis tools for detailed visitor reports.

  - Submit a work plan for review and approval.

  - Provide and implement a tool to ensure HTML page compatibility across different devices.

  - Develop and implement an automated response strategy and donation receipts system for post-donation activities.

Design and Development:

  - Develop and optimize the website.

  - Maintain an attractive, simple, and easy-to-navigate interface.

  - Create design concepts for the homepage and internal pages.

  - Implement best practices for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

  - Ensure every page includes meta tags (title, description) and implement Open-Graph modules.

  - Ensure the website is responsive and mobile-friendly.

Testing, Follow-up, Training, and Support:

  - Provide necessary support and maintenance to ensure error-free operations.

  - Develop a user manual.

  - Provide performance monitoring reports and highlight issues faced by donors.

  - Build capacity among staff and system administrators for content management, system maintenance, and administration.

  - Offer administrative and technical support and quality control for a specified period.

  - Stay updated on the latest web development technologies.

Deliverables:

- A bug-free and stable website.

- Monitoring reports on website traffic and social media performance.

- Enhanced flexibility and responsiveness of the website for donation processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in web development.

- Proven experience in developing websites focused on fundraising or nonprofit work.

- Excellent knowledge of UI/UX design principles.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.

- Good understanding of integrating electronic payment gateways and securing financial transactions.

- Ability to develop responsive websites that work efficiently across all devices (mobile phones, tablets, and computers).

Technical Experience:

- Experience with the Odoo environment.

- Proficiency in SEO practices.

- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.

- At least 7 years of experience in web development.

- Proven experience in developing websites focused on fundraising or nonprofit work.

- Excellent knowledge of UI/UX design principles.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

- Good understanding of integrating electronic payment gateways and securing financial transactions.

- Ability to develop responsive websites that work efficiently across all devices (mobile phones, tablets, and computers).
