About the Hariri Foundation (HF)
The Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development is a Lebanese non-governmental organization founded in 1979. Member of ECOSOC with special status, it aims to achieve sustainable human development at the regional, national and local levels through investing in the human capital. Through its diverse set of programs, the organization localizes, delivers and mainstreams advanced educational, participatory and developmental models aiming to transform education, promote active citizenship, and build urban resilience.
The Hariri Foundation seeks to strengthen partnerships between the public, private and civic sectors through establishing and supporting sectoral networks and communities of practice. Through international, national, and local partnerships and a diverse set of engagement programs, the organization strives to facilitate evidence-based policy addressing global development transformations and scientific frameworks.
A. Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of mentor induction and preparation sessions
- Guide mentors on their role, methodology, and follow-up with youth groups.
- Facilitate regular check-ins with mentors to review progress and challenges.
- Help ensure consistency in mentor practice across cohorts and groups.
- Provide practical support on group dynamics, youth engagement, and problem-solving.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager on mentorship progress and emerging issues.
B. Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social sciences, development, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in coaching, mentoring, facilitation, or youth development.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency, facilitation, reporting, and coordination.
- Experience supporting mentors, facilitators, or youth teams in structured programmes.
- Strong interpersonal and guidance skills.
- Ability to support reflective practice and group process
