About the Hariri Foundation (HF)
The Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development is a Lebanese non-governmental organization founded in 1979. Member of ECOSOC with special status, it aims to achieve sustainable human development at the regional, national and local levels through investing in the human capital. Through its diverse set of programs, the organization localizes, delivers and mainstreams advanced educational, participatory and developmental models aiming to transform education, promote active citizenship, and build urban resilience.
The Hariri Foundation seeks to strengthen partnerships between the public, private and civic sectors through establishing and supporting sectoral networks and communities of practice. Through international, national, and local partnerships and a diverse set of engagement programs, the organization strives to facilitate evidence-based policy addressing global development transformations and scientific frameworks.

A. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical input into programme design and adaptation to the NG-PVE model.
  • Review and support refinement of the concept note, theory of change, and curriculum.
  • Develop and/or review PVE-related learning content, tools, and guidance materials.
  • Ensure PVE integration is conflict-sensitive, youth-appropriate, and contextually relevant.
  • Deliver or support selected PVE-focused sessions during trainings and workshops.
  • Review relevant youth outputs and provide technical guidance where needed.

     

B. Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, peacebuilding, political science, psychology, international relations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency, analytical writing, training design, reporting, and programme advisory support.
  • Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Demonstrated experience in youth-focused PVE or social cohesion programming.
  • Strong understanding of the Lebanese context and relevant national frameworks.
  • Experience in training design and facilitation is an asset.

  • PVE session content, guidance, and technical support delivered as agreed
