The webmaster will work in coordination with the Director of the foundation and under the supervision of the Website Manager
Her/his duties are:
- Maintain, update and improve the office website (lb.boell.org)
- Provide monthly statistics of the use of the Website to hbs
- Assist the hbs staff in updating the office website and the YouTube and Sound Cloud channel in a timely manner
- Format texts, write teasers and search for pictures for website content
- Undertake specific research for content in English and Arabic (if needed) to be posted and/or translated and posted on the website
- Manage online conferences, panel discussions and other events via zoom and other tools.
- Provide technical support to organize webinars and other online events
- Layout and design of hbs reports
- Work with in designer program, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- Create video content, cut and edit video content
- Post videos and audio on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Knowledge in graphic design or can use in designer program, Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge in creating video content, cut an edit video for website, Instagram and Twitter
- Excellent knowledge in English and Arabic and is able to format texts and translate small content from English to Arabic
- Have more than 5 years’ experience as a webmaster and preferably if his work experience is in Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO’s).
- Based in Beirut for regular in-person check-ins at the foundation’s office
