TASKS & DUTIES:
-Oversee and maintain Helem's master budget and assist in the organization's planning, forecasting, and budgeting;
- Maintain the organization's accounting books and archive them;
- Prepare any and all necessary financial reports for stakeholders and third parties and assist auditors in the preparation of the audited annual report;
- Maintain a balance of the organization's bank accounts and assist in the preparation of bank reconciliations;
- Prepare the organization's invoices and any other necessary financial documents;
- Perform the necessary forecasts and align them with the organization's financial objectives and point out any potential risks or opportunities;
- Provide expertise and assist in the financial planning of ongoing and future funding opportunities including grants and fundraisers;
- Assist the financial needs of the organization's board and executives when and if needed including preparing regular internal financial reports;
- Assist in any other tasks deemed necessary by the center or organization’s leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Lebanese financial regulations and accounting processes
- Excellent analytical and time management skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
- Familiarity with human rights, gender, sexuality, protection, or other related fields
