Strategic Planning
- Participate in the review and validation of the program’s strategies
- Assess and approve all potential locations to conduct activities
- Attend weekly meetings with area managers and Senior Case Manager
- Attend the monthly meetings for Team Leaders of all areas with the prevention program manager
- Coordinate with the prevention program manager on the child protection and life skills curriculum (technical)
- Coordinate with the focal point from UN agencies, schools, NGOs and INGOs and the area managers regarding the awareness activities schedule
- Coordinate with the Area Manager on finalizing the MoU for any partnership established for the prevention program.
- Identify and coordinate with partners relevant to the prevention program beneficiaries in coordination with area managers
- Responsible of establishing relevant contacts in the regions
- Evaluate the work periodically with the prevention program manager
- Conduct evaluation of the activities implemented through provided templates
- Elaborate the plan of implementation of activities within the region and submit to the area manager for approval
- Submit a monthly report related to the progress of the work in the region to the Area Manager and program managers (meetings, trainings, new contacts, problems, budget line)
- Responsible of the media coverage of the prevention activities in the region and coordination with the communication department
- Attend all capacity building workshops provided for the prevention team
- Submit and control all data to the relevant departments on time (M&E, communication and others)
- Filter all cases detected and refer them to the Resilience Program internally, and externally refer cases to other partners when needed if the case was not under CP.
- Coordinate with the Senior Case Manager on a weekly basis regarding the status of cases detected and referred by the prevention team
- Initiate new techniques and tools in coordination with the program
- Implementation of activities
- Work on the creation of the committees/groups with the implementation of a comprehensive/ participatory approach with the communities targeted.
- Ensure the good process of all the stages of committee/ groups creation and provide them with the adequate support.
- Conduct first interview with volunteers, interns, and caregivers
- Conduct trainings for CBOs, caregivers and adolescents.
- Support the committees/ groups in their daily activities
- Elaborate a monitoring and evaluation plan for the caregivers groups, CBOs, and peers.
- Inform the community about himaya’s activities and answer any question related to the organization and the program
- Conduct monitoring of the activities, and plan activities accordingly.
- Conduct awareness activities for children and parents
- Maintain an accurate reporting and data management of the activities.
- Review and correct all pre and post tests before sending them to the M&E
- Organize and implement with the team several awareness events.
- Help in other activities related to the prevention program
