- Responsibilities And Obligations:
- Research, design, develop, and enhance, in coordination with himaya’s Management Team, the organization’s monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes, procedures, policies, forms and tools
- Develop projects’ Logical Frameworks, Indicators Performance Tracking Tables (IPTT) Sheets, MEAL Plans, Means of verification (MoV), and other MEAL Tools in coordination with the Management Team during proposal development and project planning
- Responsible of proper implementation of MEAL plans as per international best practices and standards
- Ensure data collection is being done properly, on time, in the right format, and that the data is being stored safely
- Support the Projects’ Teams in developing their MEAL reports (progress reports, impact reports, mid-term evaluations…etc.) and provide all needed data, and necessary information
- Consolidate data, learnings and key observations and share them in proper reporting with the organization’s management proactively and on need basis in response to donor requirements or changes in the context
- Overall responsible of MEAL related responsibilities within the organization
- Educational Background, Experience And Needed Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Social Sciences, Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Statistics or NGO Management
- Master’s degree in any of the above fields is a plus
- Training/Certifications/Diploma in MEAL, Data Analysis (visualization including graphs, charts, tables, ..), and NGO Management are highly valued
- At least 3 years of experience in MEAL with NGOs or the development sector in general
- Prior experience in Project Coordination/Management is highly valued
- Knowledgeable in: MEAL Theories, Logical Frameworks, PITT Sheets, Theory of Change, Results Based Management, Impact Assessments, MEAL Quantitative & Qualitative Tools Creation & Utilization, Data Analysis and Report Development.
- Good experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge in Data Analysis & Visualization Software (SPSS, NVivo, Airtable, Tableau…) is strongly valued.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills ( in both Arabic and English)
- Reporting on online platforms is a plus
- Attentive to details and has good problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Able to coordinate and deal with a variety of stakeholders on a regular basis
- Capable of visualizing results and findings from data and observations
