Senior Case Manager

Educational Background, Experience And Needed Skills  

• Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or any other relevant humanitarian field.
• 3 –  5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work under pressure and hard situations
• Meet deadlines and set timing for team’s  follow up
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Ability to work in a multi-professional team while remaining within his or her area of ​​expertise
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Good Knowledge of child protection and implemented laws in Lebanon
• Able to resolve disagreement on strategies in order to protect the best interest of the child
• Team management skills
• Fluent in Arabic and English with basic knowledge in French

Responsibilities And Obligations:

• Conduct the technical interview for social workers
• Conduct the induction and technical training for new recruits
• Manage and follow up on the Psycho-Social team work
• Evaluate the performance of the psycho-social team and provide recommendations
• Make sure that all measures taken are in line with the resilience program and implemented under the Lebanese Law
• Monitor the team’s  response to hotline calls and the proper filling of   corresponding documents

• Assign one psychosocial team per case according to the load of cases of each professional
• Balance high risk case between different psychosocial teams
• Validate the psychosocial team’s decision after being submitted by the team  regarding the:
  • Primary investigation/ evaluation
  • Internal referral (to the himaya prevention team)
  • External referral
  • Emergency intervention
• Validate the psychosocial team’s decision regarding the:
  • The assessment
  • The intervention
  • The Revision and follow- up
  • The closure
• Follow-up on the deadlines for the meetings with the family through the weekly schedule submitted by the Social Worker and Psychologist
• Monitor the management of files, paper documentation and proper filling of procedures
• Monitor the updates on ORACLE
• Track and monitor the steps taken by the psychosocial team, according to the SOP timely intervention
• Revise & monitor all internal and external reports to external parties: Judges, UPEL, MOSA, MEHE, NGO’s, etc.
• Update the Program Manager on challenges and trends of the implementation on regular basis by submitting a monthly report
• Communicate with Area Manager on teams’ needs
• Attend monthly meeting with the resilience program manager
• Document all decisions taken and share them with the concerned team members
