PRESENTATION OF HANDICAP INTERNATIONAL Handicap International is an independent and impartial international aid organization working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. For more details on the association: http://www.handicap-international.org Handicap International is composed of 3 operational divisions: Emergency Response Division (ERD) Mines Division Development Division MISSION CONTEXT   The Emergency Response Division in Lebanon was created in April 2012.  The provision of support to health structure is provided directly by Handicap International physiotherapist and technical advisor.  The identification, assessment of the needs, referral and direct provision of services is done trough 18 outreach teams (composed of one social worker as case manager and one physiotherapist supported by 4 psychologists and/or psychosocial workers) and trough 4 fixed points in the communities (in community centers to allow more efficiency reducing the time to reach the beneficiaries). An additional team in Bekaa and North Lebanon will be focusing on the community sensitization, training to humanitarian workers and the identification of potential local partners. In Lebanon, the provision of household essential items including food, NFI and unconditional cash assistance to cover essential winter basic needs of the most vulnerable refugee newcomers will be done in HI area of intervention (54 villages in Central and West Bekaa) through current dedicated outreach teams and distribution teams. GLOBAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION   Under the line management of Logistics Department, the position title is responsible for Cleaning WORK RELATIONSHIPS Line manager: Facility Assistant Line manager+1: Logistics Officer RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES   Objectives Activities/Main duties: Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops daily. Mopping floors with wet or damps mops daily. Cleaning and disinfecting all bathrooms daily. Empty and wash out bins in all rooms daily. Cleaning walls and windows weekly. Clean the desks for the employees if required. Make sure soap and toilet paper are available in all washrooms at all times. Cleaning walls, windows and corridors in case of rain or other debris. Clean up after flooding and/or any other emergency cleaning. Manage the stock of cleaning items and welfare in office in a rational manner and make requests for purchases of additional items in a timely manner. Ensure daily that the flash emergency water tanks in the washrooms are full of water. Wash the household kitchen items (dishes, cups, etc…). Clean the kitchen, fridge and the kitchen cupboards (inside and outside) daily Inform your line manager for any problem related to your work (water leakage, equipment malfunction, etc…) QUALIFICATION/ REQUIREMENTS Distinguish mandatory and desirable requirements Background: 3 to 5 years experience required Languages:  Arabic: Fluent, English: Basic Personal qualities & soft skills: Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity
