Disability And Vulnerability Focal Point Officer

Based in Qoubaiyat - North Lebanon, under the direct responsibility of the disability and vulnerability focal point (DVFP) project manager, you will   Organization of the team work -        Responsible for the planning of the team on the field : collection and compilation of the visits planned -        Transmission of the weekly planning every week to the project manager -        Responsible for the availability of the materials of the team for the field activities -        Animation of the weekly meetings with the team -        In collaboration with the technical advisor, participation to the training of the team -        Participation to the recruitment process with DVFP PM    2. Responsible of the reception of the cases of external referral   -        Responsible of the field officer  to receive the referral stakeholders and distribution of the cases to the field team according to the planning -        Responsible of the field officer  to  follow up of  the visits and assessment done by the field team -        Responsible of the field officer  to weekly report on the cases referred and the visits done 3. Liaison with stakeholders   -       At field level, meet on regular basis the different stakeholders to ensure effective network -       At field level, organize the link between stakeholders and HI team -       At field level, facilitate training for stakeholders    4. Implementation of a referral system in link with field officer -       Identification of the different services the local stakeholders are providing with a systematic approach -       Complete a detailed mapping of the stakeholders and the available services -       According to the mapping, support the team in defining the different external referral needed by the beneficiaries -       Liaise with other service providers to support referrals and ensure follow up of the referral done -       Organize meetings and workshop of the social worker on the referral possibilities    5. Representation      On delegation of the project manager: -       Participate to the field coordination meeting -       Bilateral meeting with stakeholders    6. Support the project manager in the definition of the services that the DVFP should implement according to the needs and the mapping of the stakeholders - According to the mapping of the services and the needs identified support the Project manager in defining the development of other services that the DVFP could implement    7. Case management meetings -       Organize multidisciplinary case management meetings -       Within the meeting propose the different possibilities of referral    8. Administrative Activities -    Provide administrative support to the project manager -    Keep clear documentation system of HI referral intake and tracking of referrals to external organizations -    Timely and accurate documentation in beneficiary files, in link with data officer -    Responsible for tracking weekly beneficiary statistics -    Bi monthly reports to the PM -    Participate in trainings and give trainings as required    9. Professional Responsibilities -   Respect beneficiary confidentiality. -   Respect and promote HI’s Policies and report to your line manager any non respect of HI’s policies amongst the teams or partners. -   Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others. -   Always interact with children with the presence of their parents or caregivers -   Always respect a refusal of treatment. -   Respect each team member’s positions, work, and speciality     THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE                                                                                                                                Knowledge Vulnerability and Disability field Project management Protection Physical rehabilitation Psychosocial   Skills Strong planification skills Good communication and listening skills Proactive Common sense Diplomacy Excellent computers skills Excelent reporting skills   Personal qualities Adaptation to specific working conditions Sense of relationship and responsability Capacity to work in team and autonomously Capacity to work in an multidisciplinary and multicultural team Dynamism, high level of motivation Interest for social work, disability field and psychosocial field Willingness to learn new skills and/or approaches Good capacity to interact with members of the team and different communities.   DIPLOMAS REQUIRED and EXPERIENCE                                                                                                          Diploma: Degree in project management, human or social science or any  relevant field   Experiences: Experience in project management Experience in social, disability, health or protection field INGO working experience required Years of experience: 1 to 2 years at least
