Handicap International Lebanon program main objectives are to mitigate the threat of mines and un-exploded ordnance in high and medium impacted communities in North Lebanon Province according to the needs and priorities identified in the strategic planning of the Lebanon Mine Action Center.   Brief description about the position (responsibilities and activities) The Logistics assistant will be in charge of the purchasing of tools, equipment and consumables needed for the good running of the mine action program. S/he will be in charge of managing and ensuring the reception of merchandise and the delivery of material to requesting parties. S/he will be in charge of the stock management and the stock follow up under the supervision of the Logistics Officer. The Logistics assistant will assist the Logistics Officer and contribute to the logistics overall management. Expected profile 1/ Field of study: BA in logistics, supply chain or management 2/ Field of experience: Experience in supply and stock with an NGO is preferable 3/ Years of experience: 1 to 2 years 4/ Competencies: MS office (Word, Excel, outlook), Negotiation skills, Attention to details, Market knowledge, Manual driving, Strong organizational skills, flexibility. 5/ Knowledge: Good knowledge of supply chain 6/ Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English, French is an advantage.   Application: Interested candidates are invited to send their CV with a scan of their ID and the driving licence certificate     Contact By e-mail to recruitment.dam@handicap-international-lb.org with a subject “Logistics Assistant” By hand in a sealed envelope to Handicap International address in Toula Batroun official school of Toula next to Abana hermitage.
