Under the direct supervision of the project officer , you will be responsible to ensure a qualitative implementation of emergency sealing off of shelter for Winterization project for the most vulnerable population affected by the Syrian crisis, and especially within the refugee’s communities threatened by winter conditions.
Your tasks will inlcude (amongst others):
1. Identify shelters in need of emergency sealing off intervention:
- In close collaboration with project officer and shelter supervisors, identify shelters (unfinished houses, sub standards shelters) at community level in need of emergency intervention for winter
- If requested, support disability and vulnerability focal point team in identifying shelters in need of urgent sealing off
2. Report datas and participate to weekly activities organization
- Ensure a daily quantitative and qualitative reporting through the tools (assessment form, reporting sheets) and system in place
- Participate to the organization of the weekly plan with the team, under Winterization project officer request
- Any other reports to be made upon line manager request
3. Participate in the analysis and reporting of winter conditions issues in the refugee population
- In formal and informal meetings with the team, participate to a qualitative analysis of the different kinds of issues related to winter conditions
- Share in formal and informal meetings with the team the information you collect on the field regarding humanitarian actors activities and constraints
- Participate to report with the tools and the internal system all issues identified

-Knowledge in computers (Excel required, Microsoft Office)
-The ability to integrate completely in the heart of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in community based mobilization
- Experience in shelter project and/or refugee humanitarian response is an asset.
