Psychosocial Trainer- Regional Mission

Under the responsibility of the Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for psychosocial activities implemented by partners   Responsibility 1 (technical support): Provide technical support to the partners Activities: Assess the technical level and capacities related to PSS of current and potential partners Work with the PSS teams to identify their key learning needs and design a professional development plan Provide technical support to partners through direct training sessions or by developing e-learning tools in close collaboration with the PSS TA Provide weekly clinical support discussions with the local PSS supervisor and/or workers for all PSS issues faced by the team via Skype/Viber/telephone Identify possible solutions and technical resources to address the issues faced by the teams in the field Analyse beneficiary and group files and data to understand needs of the beneficiaries and partner staff Design with partners designing technical tools, group and session plans with support of PSS TA and Tech Co Organisation and facilitation of trainings where relevant   Responsibility 2 (Reporting): Ensure the PSS activities are implemented and reported in line with HI strategy   Activities: Development and updates of technical tools according to the needs. Ensure the translation and implementation of all PSS tools and processes Monthly follow up of partner reporting, monitoring and evaluation Validate all project progress and financial reporting documents sent by the partner that are related to PSS activities; Contribute to any internal and external project monitoring mission or project evaluation. Ensure the translation and implementation of all PSS tools and processes    Responsibility 3 (Strategy development): Work with the PSS TA to design and implement operation framework in link with program and technical coordinators   Support the Technical Unit Coordinator and the PSS TA in designing the PSS activities, strategy and operational framework; Participate into mission cross cutting thematic work groups as per Program Co or TUC’s request; Participate in strategic planning exercises of the mission as per Program Co or TUC’s request.  Contribute to proposal writing and reporting by inputs concerning the PSS needs and response

Education and experience:
- Psychologist – minimum 2-3 years’ experience
- Experience in humanitarian field is a strong asset
