Psychosocial Worker

Under the direct supervision of the DVFP Project Manager , you will will ensure that the specific needs of people with disability/ vulnerability or at risk of disability are included in the humanitarian response to the Syrian crisis inNorthern Lebanon.   Your tasks will inlcude (amongst others): - to identify specific needs on psychosocial and psychological issues of the programme beneficiaries, contribute to the assessment of these needs and/or directly assess these needs as required - to answer to the identified needs, by providing direct psychosocial support and refer internally and externally as needed, respecting confidentiality and the right of the beneficiary -to conduct specific psycho-social group activities, adapted and appropriate to each one’s specific needs and capacities - to report datas, follow-up cases and organize the daily and weekly activities - to demonstrate an ethic and professional practic     THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS -Arabic, speaking and writing -English, speaking and writing -French langage is a plus -Good adaptability -Be dynamic, creative and have initiative -Experience working with persons with disabilities -Experience with NGO would be an asset -Experience in psychosocial activities -Excellent communication and interpesonnal skills -Strong capacity to interact with members of a multi-disciplinary team and different communities. -Strong ability to create link between persons of the community       EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: .Diploma: Social Worker degree or similar degree.   Experience: At least 2 years of experience in related field. interested candidates may send their cv to :jobs.lebanon@hi-emergency.org and mention DVFP07 in the subject
