Rehabilitation Supervisor

1.    Monitoring of rehabilitation activities Ensure that the monitoring documents are received on time and are filled properly. Analyze all individual assessment forms sent by the local PT supervisor and feedback to the physiotherapist supervisor if necessary Transfer all the individual assessment forms and follow up sheets to the Database Officer Monitor the respect of HI rehabilitation guidelines through the study of individual assessment form In case of clear/minor breach of these guidelines, report to Rehabilitation Manager and perform reminders of these guidelines to physiotherapist supervisor for him/her to remind the field teams In case of major/regular breach of these guidelines, report and submit recommendations for improvement to Rehabilitation Manager Extract specific data (upon Rehabilitation Manager demand) through the documents sent weekly by each physiotherapist supervisor, compile and  send to the Rehabilitation Manager Provide analysis of this data to the Rehabilitation Manager Ensure the written translation of all the documents upon Rehabilitation Manager demand Ensure weekly discussions and obtain information about any issue faced by the team in the implementation of the activities (linked to equipment, facilities, context…) Report on these issues to the Rehabilitation Manager and suggest potential improvements   2.    Provision of technical support Implement weekly case discussions with the local PT supervisor for all rehabilitation issues faced by the physiotherapists’ team. Analyze each rehabilitation video sent by the team and provide recommendations to the team Provide on-time feedback & support to the rehabilitation issues faced on the field (or if not possible refer it to the Rehabilitation Manager) Assess the physiotherapist’s difficulties and needs for a proper implementation of rehabilitation care and identify specific training needs and transfer to Rehabilitation Manager 3.    Support the Rehabilitation Manager on the design and implementation of rehabilitation tools and process Participate on the design of rehabilitation tools and process Ensure the translation of all rehabilitation tools and process Ensure the implementation of all rehabilitation tools and process   4.    Support the Rehabilitation Manager and/or Capacity Building Manager of training organization and facilitation Supervise the required logistics: orders requested material upon demand (in collaboration with the logistics department), check the availability of material like projector, white board, copies, setting up of the room, etc. Assess the trainees’ level prior to start the session, and adjust the training contents accordingly Provide training sessions on Emergency Rehabilitation to the physiotherapists and rehabilitation workers Ensure the trainees’ understanding & participation, and the good atmosphere of the sessions, according to the training methodology. Assess the trainees’ level at the end of the training session.    5.    Reporting and liaison Perform weekly meetings (as a minimum) Draft minutes of each meeting and send to Rehabilitation Manager Report of some case studies discussed with the PT Collect information linked to health facilities and services from each physiotherapist supervisor

1. Professional competencies required

 Certified physiotherapist
 Theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in traumatology, orthopedics, neurology and internal medicine , in war injuries
 Experience in hospital, in emergency Rehabilitation
 At least 6 months of experience with an NGO

 Good educational / teaching skills

 Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic mandatory, French is an asset

 As the rehabilitation supervisor is involved in sensitive topics, he/ she must observed absolute discretion within and outside the organization.
