Rehabilitation Supervisor - Hi Emergency Division - Beirut

ACCOUNTABILITIES Line manager: Deputy Head of Mission   Internal Interfaces: DVFP project managers and officers DVFP physiptherapists DVFP mobile teams Field Coordinators Partnership officer External Interfaces: Health working group INGOs/NGOs working in the field of rehabilitation Partners operating with HI RESPONSIBILITIES   Objective 1: ENSURING THE REHABILITATION TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO DVFP STAFFS Activities/Main duties: • Ensuring a regular supervision of the physiotherapists through field visits, case management meetings and files follow-up in order to supervise the quality of the rehabilitation activities and the respect of the DVFP approach; • Ensuring regular trainings to the DVFP staffs according to the needs identified by the project or directly by the supervisor; • Ensuring the technical validation through P&O process and individualized items process; • Ensuring the validation and the control of the quality of the rehabilitation items purchased in close coordination with the logistic departments and your line manager; • Ensuring a regular evaluation of the technical tools and documents used at field level; • Collaborating in elaboration of any technical tools or documents; • Participating to the recruitment of field rehabilitation staff through the elaboration of technical tests; • Participating to project meetings upon request; • Proposing change, updates and improvements of relevant rehabilitation activities according to HI strategy; • Proposing change, updates and/or implementation of relevant technical tools according to the needs. • Collaborating closely with the partnership officer in order to ensure a qualitative technical framework in the partnership component of the project;   Objective 2:ENSURING REGULAR REPORTING TO PARTICIPATE TO THE CAPITALIZATION OF THE PROJECT Activities/Main duties: • Ensuring regular reporting on your activities to your line manager upon his/her request; • Ensuring regular reporting to the DVFP staffs with feedbacks, advices and clear recommendations; • Ensuring the monthly report (SITREP) to your line manager; • Ensuring the elaboration of guidelines, mainstreaming documents and protocols; • Collecting, following and analyzing the datas related to rehabilitation activities   Objective 3: ENSURING HI REPRESENTATION AND COORDINATION WITH EXTERNAL ACTORS Activities/Main duties: • Ensuring trainings of external actors and partners according to the needs and upon your line manager request; • Participating to external working groups and other meetings gathering relevant stakeholders; • Collaborating with external partners; • Collaborating with the P&O technicians in close collaboration with the DVFP PMs and your line manager. • Collaborating with the partnership officer   REQUIREMENTS Education and professional background • Compulsory OT/Physiotherapy degree; • At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of vulnerability / disability as supervisor • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of rehabilitation; • At least 1 previous experience in training/capacity building and coaching; • Masters of Public Health or related studies would be an asset; • At least 1 previous experience in humanitarian context, preferably in emergency response; Ethic and professional practices • Always respect of beneficiaries’ confidentiality; • Respect and promote HI’s Policies and report to your line manager any non respect of HI’s policies amongst the teams or partners; • Address needs and requests in a professional way; • Report any incident to your line manager or act that causes any harm to a beneficiary or to others. Additional skills • Fluent in English mandatory (oral and written), French would be an asset; • Fluent in Arabic mandatory; • Computer skills: Proficiency in current office software applications; • Project management skills would be an asset.
