Vulnerability Supervisor-Hi Emergency Division

Under the supervision of the Technical Coordinator, you will be in charge of: Responsibility n°1: ENSURING THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT ON THE VULNERABILITY APPROACH TO FIELD STAFF Activities:  -  Ensuring a regular field supervision of the social and as needed outreach workers through field visits and files      follow-up in order to supervise the quality of the activities and the respect of the HI vulnerability approach; -  Ensuring regular trainings to the field staff according to the needs identified by the project managers, the Operations      Coordinator, the Technical coordinator or directly by the supervisor; -   Guarantees the harmonization of the tools used in both North and Bekaa and ensuring a regular evaluation and     review of the technical tools, guidelines and other documents; -   Participating in the good understanding of the tasks, roles and responsibilities of the SW according to HI strategy and      approach; -    Ensuring the good understanding of the internal and external referral process; -    Participating to formalization, training and follow-up of HI resource persons; -    Participating to the recruitment of field social and outreach staff for the ; -    Participating to project meetings upon request; -    Proposing change, updates and improvements of relevant social and outreach workers activities or vulnerability       approach according to HI strategy.   Responsibility n°2: ENSURING REGULAR REPORTING TO PARTICIPATE TO THE CAPITALIZATION OF THE PROJECT Activities: -     Ensuring regular reporting on your activities to your line manager upon his/her request; -     Ensuring regular feedbacks to field staffs with  advices and clear recommendations; -     Ensuring the monthly report (SITREP) to your line manager; -     Ensuring the elaboration of guidelines, mainstreaming documents and protocols; -     Following and analyzing the data related to social and outreach activities.   Responsibility n°3: PARTICIPATING IN HI REPRESENTATION AND COORDINATION WITH EXTERNAL ACTORS Activities: -     Ensuring trainings of external actors and partners according to the needs and upon your line manager request; -     Participating to external working groups and other meetings gathering relevant stakeholders;       Collaborating with external partners.   PROFILE REQUIRED Education and professional background MA Degree in Social Science; At least 1 year of professional experience in the field of vulnerability analysis; At least 1 year of professional experience in the field of Social Science; At least 1 previous experience in training/capacity building and coaching; At least 1 previous experience in humanitarian context, preferably in emergency response; Previous professional experience in cash transfer program or in-kind distribution would be an asset.   Ethic and professional practice Always respect of beneficiaries’ confidentiality; Respect and promote HI’s Policies and report to your line manager any non respect of HI’s policies amongst the teams or partners; Address needs and requests in a professional way; Report any incident or act that causes any harm to a beneficiary or to others.   Personal qualities Adaptation to specific working conditions; Capacity to work in a team and autonomously; Capacity to work in an multidisciplinary and multicultural team; Capacity to work under high pressure; Dynamism, high level of motivation; Flexibility and availability; Willingness to learn new skills and/or approaches; Good capacity to interact with members of the team and different communities; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Strong organizational skills.   Additional skills Fluent in English mandatory (oral and written), French would be an asset; Fluent in Arabic mandatory; Computer skills: Proficiency in current office software applications; Project management skills would be an asset.
