Translator

Humedica, founded in 1979 and situated in Kaufbeuren (Bavaria), is an international non-governmental organization funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. In Lebanon, humedica runs one Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) serving approximately 30 informal tented settlements (ITS) in the Bekaa valley, providing free primary health care and medication for Syrian refugees. In addition, humedica is supporting Primary Health Care Centers (PHCs) (under the administration of Ministry of Public Health) for both Lebanese and Syrian patients.

Objective:

A patient satisfaction survey will be conducted on October 23rd till November 5th which aims to evaluate humedica´s service in order to re-assess the satisfaction of the Syrian refugees in the ITS and improve the primary health care service provided to them. The survey will be conducted by a trained humedica volunteer with the aid of a translator. 

Main Task:

•  Translate from English to Arabic and vice versa

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years professional translation experience
• Proven skills in translation and interpretation from English to Arabic and vice versa
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic

The survey will be conducted in a period of 10 days in different ITS.
