JOB SUMMARY   Ibdaa Microfinance Company is a Lebanese Non-Banking financial institution operating under the umbrella of the central bank of Lebanon and owned by The Arab Gulf fund for Development (AGFUND) and a group of socially responsible Lebanese business men. Ibdaa – Lebanon aims at providing a group of Financial, semi financial, and non-financial services to the poor and near poor with the aim to help them improve and expand their businesses and increase their overall families’ income. Ibdaa – Lebanon operates according to worldwide best practices and aims to expand through a network of branches across Lebanon.   To help achieve these goals, Ibdaa is currently seeking to recruit a qualified and dynamic Lebanese national for the position of a Branch Manager (BM) to be based within the network of Ibdaa Branches in Beirut and other districts. The BM operates under the supervision of the Chief operations Officer (COO). The BM will be responsible for overseeing day to day branch operations and ensuring that branch business plan targets are achieved in line with the company's philosophy. The BM will lead the effort to expand client outreach while maintaining high quality loan assessment, loan approval, loan disbursement and delinquency management processes.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Staff Management; includes: Recruit and train Client Officers and other new staff, and guide and monitor them during the probation period; Regularly review and assess the performance of branch staff, conduct supervision meetings and manage the annual performance assessment process; Compile relevant quantitative and qualitative data and information as outlined in the Staff Incentives Policy   Operations Management; includes: Supervise day to day operations including disbursement and collections management and portfolio monitoring; Manage office cash flow; Supervise the processing of loan applications and take responsibility for approving all branch loans, based on the strength of the loan application; Follow up on overdue loans and doubtful debt and inform the Head of Operations immediately when facing sustained recovery problems in a specific area or with a specific product;   Business Planning and Expansion; includes: Map and assess potential target areas and client groups and supervise and guide staff to establish new sub-branch offices; Ensure that targets outlined in the Business Plan are achieved;
