Under the overall supervision of the General Manager, the incumbent of this post is responsible directly to the Operations Manager in the short term, and in the longer term will be reporting directly to the Credit Supervisor/Branch Manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In accordance with the company’s policy and procedures, the incumbent:
1) Conduct door-to-door and field promotion and marketing visits to promote the company’s products within her/his assigned area
2) Visit Clients in accordance with the plans and policies set by the company
3) Review loan applications to ensure it is in line with the adopted procedures
4) Follow up with clients and collect needed documentation for their applications
5) Conduct a feasibility study which shows the repayment capacity of the applicants and raise his/her recommendation to the immediate supervisor
6) Monitor existing businesses and reports any problems and issues that might affect their repayments
7) Submit periodical reports to the immediate supervisor on the quality of his/her portfolio
8) Maintains good relationships with the local community representatives and NGOs working within her/his area.
9) Perform any other duties as might be assigned by immediate supervisor
B. Experience
Fresh Graduate or max of two years experience in related field.
C. Languages:
Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
D. Competencies:
i) Excellent communication and negotiation skills, sound judgment and demonstrated problem-solving skills;
ii) Good analytical with familiarity with numbers;
iii) Ability to operate standard computer software;
iv) Ability to work in the field for long hours, under pressure and challenging conditions;
v) Knowledge of the region’s environment and culture, where s/he will be working
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
i) Special training in small business development and/or micro-credit;
EQUIVALENCY
Candidates with an equivalent combination of relevant academic qualifications, professional training and progressive work experience may also be considered.
