Software Developer

The responsibilities include the development, maintenance and enhancement of a variety of software applications, as well as supporting existing applications, mobile applications and reporting modules.

The software developer will be collaborating with the financial and operating departments on various projects, research new technologies and ways to improve the existing applications and support daily issues as needed.

The software developer will be acting as a second line of support to solve issues related to the existing platform. Reporting to the IT Manager, the Software developer is in charge of analyzing, designing, building, testing and building new components and integrate with third party components and solutions.

Requirements

3+years of software development experience

Strong communication skills

Ability to work in and with teams

Oracle database development experience

Proficiency with front-end web development technologies (Javascript/HTML5/CSS /Angular)

Reports generation / ad-hoc reporting experience

Preferred Skills

Database scripting knowledge

Working knowledge of Web Services

Angular/ionic development experience

Familiarity with distributed development / client server development

Familiarity with SDLC including testing and verification.

Ability and skills to contribute to the design aspect of projects

Ability to learn quickly and act independently

Eager to learn new applications and technologies in a heterogeneous environment

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging position

Team player, Ability to work well with end users
