GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Resettlement Support Center Turkey & Middle East (RSC TuME) an international non-governmental organization which serves as a regional office for the US Refugee Resettlement and Cultural Orientation Program in the Middle East region. RSC ICMC Beirut conducts US Resettlement Operations in Lebanon. RSC Turkey & Middle East (RSC TUME) operates in a dynamic work environment and job descriptions/duties may change as operational needs decrease or increase.
RSC TuME Beirut office is recruiting a Processing Clerk to be employed on a casual hire basis
Job Purpose
UNHCR refers refugees for selection for the resettlement program along with all documents, data and information related to the case which are stored within ICMC offices. The Clerical Unit is responsible for the safekeeping of all sensitive documents, personal and biometric data and preparing files for each stage of the resettlement process.
The Clerks will work in a team with Supervisors on each case file to ensure that the information and date contained in the file is up-to-date and presented according to USCIS standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
To prepare all refugee files to a high standard for USCIS interviews and for IOM before departure
To obtain necessary electronic and biometric data to be included in the file
To Verify, translate, scan, and photocopy all documents required for each refugee file for the purpose of case preparation and/or employment verification.
To Schedule cases for pre-screening, Medical, USCIS..etc and make necessay calls and follow up.
To update all information in the global Worldwide Refugee Assistance Programme database
To cooperate with key partners and stakeholders in the resettlement process such as UNHCR, IOM, PRM;
To take part in regular audits, inspections and team meetings;
To perform other tasks as assigned by the Processing Supervisor and the Unit Supervisors.
EDUCATION
Post Secondary degree or equivalent work experience.

Proven ability to pay attention to detail and produce accurate work
Perfect command of Arabic, normally expected to the incumbent's main language. Excellent knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of additional language is an asset.
