Project Description:
The project aims to empower young men and women belonging to the Iraqi refugee community and local communities to take control over their career choices by providing opportunities to increase their employability (both in Lebanon and abroad) and support them to make informed life choices. This will be achieved through the organization of life skills training and vocational training aiming to improve IT skills and linguistic competences (English language). ICU - Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria is looking for trainers to implement Vocational Trainings targeting youth belonging to refugee and local communities living in the area of Sabtieh-Baouchrieh (Beirut, Mount Lebanon).
Education and other criteria requested to the applicants:
Education:
- English Language Teacher: University degree in English Literature or equivalent. English fluency (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Life Skills Trainer: University Degree in Social Sciences or any other field relevant to development.
- IT Trainer: University degree in IT or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of previous experience as trainer/teacher in the topic of the requested training.
- Arabic fluency is a must (spoken and written).
- Previous experience in working with refugee-communities is a plus.
- Previous experience in working with youth is a plus.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive, flexible, and dynamic.
