Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management
- Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance engagement and grow the organization's online community.
- Create, schedule, and publish content across all social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with audiences on social media channels.
- Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools and prepare regular reports on engagement metrics.
- Content Creation
- Produce high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for social media, the website, newsletters, and other communication channels.
- Develop engaging stories, blog posts, and updates to highlight IDRAAC’s projects, events, and impact.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding across all communication materials.
- Website Management
- Update and maintain the organization's website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and regularly refreshed with new content.
- Create and upload content, including project descriptions, news articles, and success stories.
- Monitor website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools to optimize user experience.
- Communication Strategy
- Develop and execute creative digital campaigns that align with organizational goals and engage target audiences.
- Draft newsletters, press releases, and other communication materials to effectively convey key messages and updates.
- Build and strengthen IDRAAC’s brand identity by creating consistent, impactful messaging across all online platforms.
- Actively engage with stakeholders through digital channels to foster relationships and enhance the organization’s visibility.
- Media Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists.
- Draft press releases, media briefs, and other communication materials for public dissemination.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare media reports as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms and creating digital content.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English and Arabic (French is a plus).
- Proficiency in website management systems (e.g., WordPress) and social media management tools.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
