Responsibilities:

  1. Grant Research and Identification:
    1. Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities aligned with IDRAAC's mission and objectives.
    2. Stay informed about funding trends, priorities, and opportunities in the mental health and research sectors.
  2. Proposal Development:
    1. Prepare and develop grant proposals, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and guidelines.
    2. Collaborate with program managers and researchers to gather necessary information for proposal development.
  3. Grant Management:
    1. Oversee the entire grant application process, from submission to reporting.
    2. Monitor grant timelines, ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements.
    3. Maintain accurate records of grant applications, awards, and reporting.
  4. Relationship Building:
    1. Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential donors, funding agencies, and partners.
    2. Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for donor cultivation and stewardship.
  5. Financial Oversight:
    1. Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate budgeting and financial reporting in grant applications.
    2. Monitor and track grant expenditures to ensure compliance with donor guidelines.
  6. Communication:
    1. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing updates on grant activities and progress.
    2. Prepare regular reports on grant activities for internal and external audiences.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, nonprofit management, public administration, etc.).
  • Proven experience in grant writing and management.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with mental health and research sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
