General Manager

General Manager Vacancy: Location: Beirut with some travel internally to camps and abroad   Salary: Competitive  Terms: Full time Reporting to: Inaash’s Chairman of the Board   Role: Inaash is looking for a dynamic leader to fill out their General Manager role, and steer the organisation towards becoming a more successful fashion and design social enterprise. The candidate will be supported by the Chair and the board of Inaash during the initial phase. The role includes the following tasks: Strategy: Participate in formulating Inaash’s strategy as a high-end fashion and design social enterprise, with board and external consultants, Implement strategy that aims to maximise Inaash’s sales in Lebanon and abroad, creating more work opportunities for women, and increasing awareness about Inaash’s important message, the role also includes overview of the KG project,   Recruit new team members for specific vacancies, who will act as positive change agents in the organisation’s success, Design and Production turnaround: Develop a yearly sales forecast and a production plan, based on history, future plans, pricing and Inaash’s strategy and vision, Study market trends and implement the release of regular new lines and seasonal collections, in coordination with the design arm of Inaash, Transform production team to become a lean and agile unit, minimising production time while maintaining Inaash’s high-quality standards, Sales and marketing: Actively implement Inaash’s marketing plan that aims to target new market segments, focusing on direct marketing, increasing presence on social media and releasing new collections regularly, Supervise building a client database and managing it to fulfil marketing plan, Develop social media initiatives and have oversight of their implementation, Launch and supervise special projects such as rebranding of Inaash, Finance: Work closely with Accountant, Chair and Auditors to ensure accurate implementation of accounting processes and to develop regular cash flow and inventory reports, Analyse cash flow and inventory reports and come up with creative solutions to increase cash flows, Study competition and advise on setting prices in line with Inaash’s profit margin policies and in coordination with board, Be responsible for Inaash’s legal affairs and ensure proper documentation, Fundraising: Participate in maximising fundraising capabilities, Supervise donor/friends/sponsors database and ensuring accurate update, Act as an ambassador for Inaash, by approaching potential donors and writing proposals in coordination with secretary.   Qualifications: Entrepreneurial leader who proactively takes initiative and is passionate about implementing a turnaround plan successfully, Excellent people skills, able to interact and influence various types of stakeholders: board members, donors and staff, Excellent organisational skills, Strong financial acumen; ability to conduct budget, cash flow and inventory analysis, BA in fashion and design, business administration or relevant field, A master’s degree is a plus, 5-7 years’ experience in a managerial role in business or fashion and design sectors, Excellent command of English and Arabic languages, French is a plus, Excellent computer skills, Social media understanding, Strong belief in Inaash’s mission and determination to play a meaningful role in others’ lives, Negotiations skills, Desirable: experience in fund raising and development.   Applications: Interested candidates must send their CV and letter of motivation indicating what makes them suitable for this role, to the following email address: Inaash.vacancies@gmail.com  Please indicate the vacancy title in the subject line.
