Background

InfoPro Research is a leading market research and polling firm which has been catering to the needs of the local and regional markets for more than 25 years.

Over the years we have carried out many consultancy assignments for public sector entities, international organizations and private sector companies on a myriad of topics including economic and social development policies, market assessments, opinion polling surveys, feasibility studies, media monitoring, quality control, systems and procedures including industrial and business procurement, and other interests. The assignments included preparation of proposals, action plans, questionnaires / discussion guides, databases, data collection, data cleaning and processing, report writing and presentations.

We use advanced and multi-faceted research methodologies and techniques that comply with ESOMAR standards.

Currently, InfoPro is conducting several studies with a gender component. These studies include market assessments and project evaluations (baselines, midterm evaluations, or final evaluations).

To this end, InfoPro is recruiting a gender expert with extensive experience in conducting gender assessments specific to the agriculture sector.

Duties and responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Project Director, the expert will be responsible for placing the framework for studies that fall under the gender umbrella. The expert will also support in preparing research tools, take part in training team members, analyze results, and draft reports.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in conducting gender assessments
• Has worked on more than 10 studies specific to gender and social inclusion assessments
• Has conducted gender assessments for the Agriculture sector
• Well versed in the design and usage of qualitative and quantitative tools
• Has previous experience in conducting studies for international organizations
• Able to synthesize large data sets to reach conclusions and strategic recommendations
• In-depth knowlege of the Lebanese context
• Has worked on projects in Akkar and Bekaa

• Higher education degree from a top-tier English language university
• Has excellent writing skills
• Fluent in English and Arabic
