INJAZ Lebanon is a non-profit organization, an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, with a mission to equip youth with the skills and mindset they need to become the entrepreneurs and business leaders stimulating their communities. It is also a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, a regional network of 14 countries across the MENA region. INJAZ Lebanon delivers programs in partnership with the business sector focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy.
JETers are INJAZ alumni who developed leadership and coaching skills and learned how to facilitate training sessions for INJAZ programs to help younger youth learn, grow and improve their skills.
Position Summary
The JETter will work closely with the Schools Coordinator. This person will be responsible of the quality of implementation of INJAZ Lebanon programs in the schools and will:
• Be responsible for the Content Preparation, adaptation, and Facilitation
• Lead on programs delivery, ensures students’ retention to the programs, and maintains good relation with schools.
• Be responsible for ensuring quality programs implementation.
• Be responsible for organizing materials and kits for the programs.
• Support in systemizing interaction with students, data collection, communication, and grant reporting.
Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery
• Attend the INJAZ Lebanon Training of Trainers workshop.
• Deliver ideation, financial literacy, business development, and other Entrepreneurship programs of INJAZ Lebanon
• Support youth teams closely in developing their skills and ideas
• Communicate sessions’ progress to the line manager and maintain participants’ attendance records
• Submit the weekly report on progress to the line manager and finance department
2. Program implementation and quality
• Knowledgeable of INJAZ Lebanon implemented programs and ensures that it is being delivered according to the Programs Implementation Standards shared by the Regional Office and the donors’ standards
• Contact schools and ensure follow-up with existing schools regularly to ensure smooth running and quality delivery of programs
• Schedule, attend, and lead on the implementation in the needed area with the schools and update them on a daily basis on the delivery sheet
• Work on the programs content, materials preparation, and presentation with the needed tools
• Facilitate and deliver programs
• Ensure an adequate number of classes (including students reach) to reach the target
• Gather testimonials from students and school representatives. Takes pictures of selected sessions deliveries.
• Support in the adaptation of programs through feedback and comments shared by school representatives and student
• Assist in identifying volunteers to deliver the programs.
3. Monitoring & Evaluation
• Collect data for the implemented program (pre/post-tests, attendance sheets, pictures, testimonials, trainers’ feedback) for reporting purposes
• Update database, and information sheets and insert data collected on reporting sheets
• Assure that all information sheets and delivery schedules are updated at all times
4. Logistics & Administrative Support
• Coordinate and manage the logistics required for the implementation of the activities whenever needed
• Ensure availability of all program materials and coordinate with Project Manager on printing requirements
5. Others:
• Attend team meetings
• Undertake other related duties, as assigned or requested by the Schools Coordinator
Qualifications:
1. Alumni for at least one of INJAZ Programs
2. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Management or another relevant field
3. Sincere interest in the mission of INJAZ Lebanon and in entrepreneurship.
4. Knowledgeable of the ecosystem in North Lebanon mainly
5. Strong relationship-building and presentation skills
6. Ability to work independently and under pressure
7. Highly organized and motivated, ability to multitask in a timely manner, team player
8. Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
