Role Summary

The Partnership/Employability Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing partnerships with private sector companies, educational institutions, and NGOs to support the delivery of INJAZ Lebanon’s employability and entrepreneurship programs. The role includes coordinating employability initiatives such as apprenticeship, mentorship, job shadowing, and job placement, while ensuring alignment with youth skills development goals.

Key Responsibilities

Private Sector Engagement

  • Identify and secure partnerships with employers, chambers of commerce, and industry associations.
  • Coordinate employer participation in job fairs, mentorship sessions, mock interviews, and study tours.
  • Develop and maintain a job vacancy database to share opportunities with program participants.
  • Lead the organization of two national employability events and ten sector-specific study tours.

Project Planning & Coordination 

  • Support the implementation of employability components 
  • Work closely with facilitators and project manager to align training and job readiness support with private sector needs.
  • Collaborate on participant matching to apprenticeships, trainings, and jobs.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure projects and activities are executed within the framework of the original plan and budget.
  • Support project teams in the fulfillment of their duties according to project design and goals.
  • Develop detailed project work plans in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and adjust with the team the programs materials needed for implementation
  • Contribute to the recruitment of new project personnel when needed with the support of the Finance & Admin Manager.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Maintain ongoing communication with private sector partners and stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, MoUs, and activity updates related to employer engagement.
  • Contribute to donor reporting with documentation of employability outcomes, placement data, and success stories.

Trainers’ Facilitators & Scheduling:

  • Review, update and maintain INJAZ Database of facilitators.
  • Conduct the recruitment and orientation of project facilitators.
  • Assist in planning and implementing INJAZ Training of Facilitators (ToF) sessions.
  • Ensure that project facilitators and enumerators consistently fulfill their roles and complete program delivery tasks in line with project standards.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of INJAZ Lebanon program content and monitor its delivery according to agreed-upon standards.

Support Monitoring & Learning

  • Assist in tracking job placement outcomes and employer satisfaction.
  • Document employer engagement processes and lessons learned to inform future programming.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in partnership development, CSR, human resources, or employability.
  • Strong understanding of the Lebanese labor market and youth employment challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative platforms
  • Ability to travel to project locations across Lebanon.
