Program Coordinator

PROGRAM COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION     A - OVERALL OBJECTIVES ▫   Plan, manage and evaluate programs implementation on an area level and report to Program Manager. ▫   Ensure quality implementation of INJAZ Programs to better impact all students in Lebanon.   B- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  PROGRAMS ▫   Participate in and supervise the development, adaptation, translation, printing and piloting of programs. ▫   Study local needs, support in developing, piloting and adjusting locally developed programs. ▫   Ensure availability of all program materials and coordinate with the schools and volunteers (inventory). ▫   Implement evaluation process (questionnaire, focus groups, interviews…) and report to Evaluation Coordinator.   VOLUNTEERS ▫   Recruit new corporate and individual volunteers through meeting, presenting, filling applications, screening and selection. ▫   Maintain positive relationships with volunteers and sustain regular follow-up and coaching through phone calls, class visits and feedback meetings before the first session, during delivery and after last session ▫   Seek new creative sources for pools of volunteers. ▫   Form, motivate, lead, and manage a team of volunteers from the area (Create a committee for highly motivated and committed volunteers to support with Program implementation).   SCHOOLS & PARTNERS ▫   Coordinate with Executive Director and Program Manager to foster the relationship with the Ministry of Education. ▫   Engage new schools through meeting, presenting, and filling the agreement to ensure quality implementation. ▫   Ensure positive relationship and quality service to schools through regular meetings and invitations to recognition events and activities.   TRAINING                                                                                                                                                                                 ▫   Prepare, organize and coordinate Introductory Sessions and Training Workshops for Volunteers, teachers, and school principals and assist in developing, adapting, delivering and supervising the training workshops.    ADMINISTRATION ▫   Support the INJAZ team in preparing a yearly plan for programs implementation. ▫   Deliver reports of program implementation as needed (will be discussed with the Program Manager). ▫   Take initiative and support all other functions in the organization. ▫   Attend all team meetings and other meetings when necessary. ▫   Support budget expectation by recycling, reusing and restocking program materials. ▫   Keep up to date with records on all levels (Volunteers, schools, bookkeeping…etc). ▫   Organize and coordinate events, projects and international meetings related to students, volunteers (volunteer recognition event), teachers, schools and Ministry of Education.   C- REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE                                              EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE - The candidate should: -          Hold a university degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Human Resources, or Human Sciences (or other, if experience is relevant) -          A Minimum of 1 year experience in Public Relations, Business, or a people related commission is a plus.   QUALIFICATIONS -          Have very strong communication and presentation skills -          Proven ability to work in a team -          Be outgoing and proactive -          Have organizational and planning skills -          Be dynamic and motivated -          Strong Computer skills                                                                    LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS -          Full proficiency in both English and Arabic is essential, French is a plus
