Position Summary
(1) Organizes programs delivery, ensures students’ retention to the project and maintains good relation with universities.
(2) Responsible for ensuring quality programs implementation.
(3) Initiates contacts with the universities and promotes INJAZ Lebanon programs in line with the project requirements.
(4) Supports in approaching companies in South, in recruiting and training volunteers to deliver the programs.
(5) Responsible for organizing materials and kits for the programs.
(6) Supports in systemizing interaction with students, data collection, communication and grant reporting.
Responsibilities
Organizing programs delivery and follow up:
Initiates and maintains a good relationship with universities in South by renewing collaboration, getting regular feedback and keeping their information updated.
Schedules programs sessions in the universities involved in the project.
Follows-up with universities regularly to ensure smooth running and quality delivery of programs.
Ensures an adequate number of classes (including students reach) to ensure reach per project requirement.
Attends selected sessions’ deliveries with volunteers. Supports in programs implementation when needed.
Gathers testimonials from students and universities representatives. Takes pictures of selected sessions deliveries.
Ensuring quality of programs implementation:
Reads INJAZ Lebanon programs (Arabic and English) and ensures that programs are delivered according to the Programs Implementation Standards shared by the Regional Office.
Responsible for gathering pre and post evaluation tests from students and making sure that they are filled correctly.
Supports in the adaptation of programs through feedback and comments shared by school representatives and students.
Supports Senior Programs Manager in assessing volunteers’ delivery.
Initiating contact with new universities:
Promotes the mission of INJAZ Lebanon within the universities and register students for selected programs.
Initiates contact with new universities as per project requirement and reach plan.
Supports Senior Programs Manager in preparing a work plan for programs distribution among involved universities.
Programs kits and materials:
Leads the organization of the inventory of materials and kits for INJAZ programs in coordination with Program team.
Keeps kit counts and other materials updated to ensure efficient and timely request for printing.
Makes sure that all kits are collected from volunteers after program delivery.
Recruiting and following up with corporate volunteers:
Supports Senior Programs Manager (lead when needed) in recruiting corporate volunteers.
Responsible for expanding network of individual volunteers in South.
Designing a comprehensive and straight-forward database of volunteers to speed the screening system
Educating volunteers about INJAZ Lebanon and providing them with an orientation session that includes vision, purpose and the importance of their role.
Supports Senior Programs Manager in training volunteers to deliver the programs.
Supporting in systemizing interaction with students, data management, communication and grand reporting:
Oversees data entry of students’ information and ensure that it is regularly updated.
Oversees data entry of pre and post-tests. Supports in analyzing results.
Ensures that appropriate data is collected as per KPIs agreed on for reporting (Internal and Grant reporting).
Supports in strategizing and implementing systems for including students in the INJAZ Alumni Chapter. Ensures that the objectives are met based on Regional Office’s guidelines.
Provides information in a timely fashion for grant reporting as requested by Senior Programs Manager.
Provides programs stories, photos, testimonials and programs allocation in schools and universities (with students reach) for the marketing department (media communication, social media, newsletters, website…).
Others:
Attends team meetings and others when necessary.
Performs other duties related to the project, as assigned or requested.
Position Qualifications:
Required:
q Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Other relevant field or equivalent.
q 3+ years of work experience in education, business or social sector.
q Knowledgeable of the ecosystem in South of Lebanon, specifically in Saida and Nabatieh (education, business, NGOs..).
q Sincere interest in the mission of INJAZ Lebanon.
q Strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
q Ability to work independently and under pressure.
q Highly organized and motivated, ability to multitask in a timely manner, team player.
q Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
q Motorized.
