Project Coordinator

INJAZ Lebanon is currently looking for a Project Coordinator who will work closely with the Programs Manager and the team in all areas accross Lebanon. 

Responsibilities

  

Programmes Management

  • Ensure that implementation across the programs/projects areas is delivered within the framework of the original plan and in line with the overall budget, with the optimum use of resources. Propose and prepare any amendments if needed.
  • Develop the detailed program/project work plan in coordination with Programs Manager, Operations Manager, and the field teams.
  • Support the team in the fulfillment of their duties according to program/project design
  • Ensure close coordination at the area level with INJAZ community partners for youth outreach and registration as per agreed targets.
  • Prepare and adjust with the team the programs materials needed for implementation
  • Facilitate when needed workshops and events

 

Trainers & Volunteers’ Training & Scheduling:

  • Ensure the recruitment and orientation of project trainers and volunteers.
  • Support in the planning and implementation of the INJAZ Training of Trainers. This includes preparation of resources needed for the TOT and validation with the team
  • Ensure that INJAZ trainers and volunteers are consistently fulfilling their roles and completing program delivery tasks while implementing the INJAZ programs in the target communities. This also includes reporting frequently on the quality of work conducted
  • Knowledgeable of INJAZ Lebanon program content and ensures that it is being delivered according to the agreed project standards and plan.
 

Partnerships – Community Centers/School/Universities/Educators’ Relationships:

  • Develop and maintain quality relationships with partners, schools, universities and CSOs, with the support of the team.
  • Recruit new CSOs, schools, partners as needed and kick start long-term relationships with the support of the team.
 

Program Implementation & Quality:

  • Manage program implementation.
  • Oversee that program team assures the quality of programs through phone calls, classroom, trainers & volunteer monitoring, and program evaluation instruments.
  • Manage the availability of program materials and resources according to programmes plan
  • Assess appropriateness of programmes model for local area and adapt accordingly if needed with the team

 

Program Administration:

  • Assist in developing reports to donors with support from programmes team.
  • Oversee maintenance of database information on all programs and participants
  • Ensure all logistics are in place when running a workshop and an event
 

Others:

  • Attend partners’ meetings and team meetings when asked
  • Undertake other related duties, as assigned or requested
 

Position Qualifications:

Required: 

 

 

  • Master degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Education or other relevant field
  • 4+ years of professional experience including project and team management  (experience with international donors is a plus).
  • Solid experience of project cycle management, ensuring the delivery of high quality programs
  • Knowledgeable and strong interest in Business Development and Entrepreneurship (A must)
  • Facilitation previous experience is highly recommended 
  • Ability to multi task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent MS office skills are a must (Excel, World, Powerpoint)
  • Proactive with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with excellent organizational, time management and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
  • Motorized
