Communication Officer

 The Communication officer will have sufficient experience and skills in drafting information documents and in designing visibility materials. The Communication officer will be specifically in charge of: - Design and produce an information leaflet with accurate information on programs and services provided by Insan to be distributed to beneficiaries, other NGOs, INGOs, Embassies, etc... - Produce such a leaflet with updates every six months for distribution.- Design and produce a newsletter (4 pages) with updates on Insan’s activities, news, announcements, in addition to news and announcements from other organizations working in the same field. The newsletter would also include testimonies and stories told by different people working or volunteering at Insan, in addition to stories told by the beneficiaries and other relevant topics. This newsletter will be produced at least four times a year. - Update information on Insan’s website regularly and publish the produced leaflets and newsletters and other materials on the website. - Ensure that all needed data is collected and collated to prove the achievement of the objectives mentioned above.- Conduct meetings with relevant Embassies, NGOs, INGOs, etc... to introduce Insan and deliver the information package. - Send regular updated information (once produced) by regular mail and/or e-mail to the abovementioned parties.- ensure the circulation and regular update of all information relevant to Insan’s activities among all the staff and volunteers of Insan. - organize internal meetings and social events for the purpose of better communication between the different members of the staff and departments. - Follow up and supervise the implementation of awareness campaigns for the rights of migrant workers in Lebanon.- follow up and supervise the implementation of visibility campaign to introduce Insan Association to the wider public.
