INSAN Association is a Lebanese human rights organizations working to protect and promote the rights of the most vulnerable populations in society since 1998. Insan has long been working with vulnerable and marginalized communities in general, and migrant domestic workers in particular. Insan Association is recruiting an external evaluator to undertake an assessment of the association’s work on ‘access to justice’ for Migrant Domestic Workers in Lebanon.
The aim of this evaluation is to assess Insan’s work in the area of access to justice to domestic workers generally and the impact of one particular project in this area.
The evaluation is expected to asses:
- The impact of Insan’s efforts in relation to migrants’ access to justice
- How are project objectives being met, the efficiency and effectiveness of the action
- Any unintended outcomes of the work that were not planned (whether beneficial or negative);
- The sustainability of the work on access to justice in the longterm;
- Where have been the greatest successes, and where could improvements be made.
The evaluation is expected to produce general recommendations on how Insan can improve its capacity by addressing the following points:
- External constraints that are facing the organization and ways to address them
- Internal constraints that are facing the organization and ways to address them
- What priority areas should the organization focus on in the future work on access to justice for Migrant Domestic Workers
- What kind of external support can the organization draw on to enhance its performance in thsi area
- Lebanon
- Beirut
