Procurement - Sub Award Management Trainer

Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) is an independent not-for profit organisation that works with media and civil society to promote positive change in conflict zones, closed societies, and countries in transition around the world.

IWPR would like to hire an organisation/individual who is qualified to provide a sub award management training to up to 12 staff members in Beirut, Lebanon from 5-7 November, 2018.

Scope of Work and Objectives.

• Provide a 3 day training on Procurement - Sub Award management in Beirut, Lebanon
• Training should include:
  • All stages of sub award from Request For Application (RFA) to issuing the contract
  • Implementation techniques and tips
  • Compliance – specifically USG donor regulations  
  • Interactive activities to ensure staff have grasped key concepts
  • Certificates for staff members to acknowledge the successful completion

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

• At least five years’ experience in the field of staff development for NGO’s
• Proven successful completion of similar training previously

Nature of penalty clause in contract

If work is not completed according to the deliverables and timeframe stated in this TOR, the payments will be withheld.
