Responsibilities and tasks:
The data entry operator will work within the ICRC's protection & tracing department. Specifically, in the frame of the collection of personal data of Missing persons, the data entry operator will enter the collected data into sophisticated databases, developed especially for that purpose.
His/her tasks will include:
Enter the data collected through the personal data questionnaire on Missing persons into the database following ICRC guidelines and local procedures.
Perform quality check of the questionnaires and of the data entered in the database.
Carries out translations
Ensures follow-up and updates of specific files/databases
Assist in the management of the individual paper files and in the reporting.
Minimum required knowledge & experience:
High Education (University or Institute)
Very good computer skills
Good analytical skills
Arabic native speaker; very good knowledge of spoken and written English
Rigor, method and analytical skills
Capacity to adhere to and to implement procedures
Discretion
Knowledge in human anatomy/physiology is an asset
