Data Entry Operator (For Ante Mortem/post-Mortem Database -Ampm-)

Responsibilities and tasks: Enter data collected on Ante Disappearance Data questionnaires (ADD) into the Ante-Mortem / Post-Mortem Database (DB) following ICRC guidelines and local procedures. Perform quality control measures on ADD questionnaires and data entered into the database Assist in the management of individual paper files and reporting requirements Participate in team meetings towards the improvement of the Programme projects Enter data into the AMPM DB following interviews with families of missing persons The data entered will be in in formal Arabic language so a good background in Arabic language. The data entered includes information about personal, physical, medical and dental features of the missing persons so a background in biology or relevant field is preferred Check the quality of the ADD questionnaires, and draft reports on the quality and coherence of the data. Perform selections (queries) upon request of the Missing delegate, DB Manager or Forensic Adviser, to review the collection of ADD. Assist the Database Manager in monitoring the data created and perform regular data cleaning to avoid duplicates and unused/inconsistent entries. Minimum required knowledge & experience: BA degree (preferably in Biology) 2 years work experience in a similar field Very good command of written and spoken Arabic and English Very good computer skills Good analytical skills
