Driver - Zahleh   The ICRC driver should be able to drive different types of light ICRC vehicles by strictly following internal security and national traffic rules. In addition, transporting people and/or material, checking equipment on attributed cars, ensuring proper fuelling and cleaning and moving independently in difficult security environments   Main responsibilities Transporting passengers and/or goods as advised by the Car Dispatcher. Ensuring passengers and cargo safety at any time when driving an ICRC vehicle by obeying security rules, traffic laws and regulations, as well as by cautious driving. Ensuring appropriate reporting to the operation room on any trip as defined in the security regulations. Carrying out the required daily and weekly checks of all vehicles and to make sure that vehicle at all times are fully operational. Ensuring that vehicles are at all times cleaned and representative at the outside and the inside. Complying with working hours as regulated. Working according to the operational needs (shift system). Informing the Car Dispatcher on any defects or damages on vehicles driven, when returning to the base. Facilitating border crossing of ICRC delegates when necessary. Accompanying ICRC truck convoys inside Lebanon. Ensuring correct use of logbook and all related vehicle records.   Profile Primary school level 2 years work experience in a similar function Good knowledge of English Driving license for at least 5 years Good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment Masters 4/4 and VHF use Basic mechanical skills   Start of work: ASAP Contract duration: 6 Months Working base: Based in Zahleh and field visits through the Bekaa region.
