Ecosec Field Officer

Responsibilities and tasks: - The EcoSec program responds to food and non-food and livelihood needs of those fleeing armed conflicts within the borders of Lebanon. The field officer's tasks include but are not limited to: - Participating in field assessments / post-distribution monitoring by using existing information collection tools / reporting templates and ensuring that all necessary data is properly collected and recorded in the correct format. - Interacting with potential beneficiaries / local partners as required and supporting coordination with other humanitarian actors, national and international, for purposes of planning distributions. - Organizing and implementing distribution of relief assistance (in-kind or in-cash) under the direction of EcoSec team leader. - Contribute to the design and implementation of livelihood projects and micro economic initiatives under the direction of EcoSec team leader. - Interprets during meetings from Arabic to English, and vice versa with an occasional need to translate certain technical documents.   　 Minimum required knowledge & experience: - Bachelor degree - 2 - 3 years work experience in a similar field - Good command of written and spoken English - Good computer skills - Good analytical skills   　 Start of work: May 1st, 2016 Working base: Zahle, with field responsibilities covering the Bekaa region.
