Field Officer Physiotherapist

Responsibilities and Tasks :   Assures that all patients in the 5 supported post-operative centres get an adequate rehabilitation, including prescription, assessment and adapted treatment Assures that rehabilitation is multidisciplinary Supports the expatriate physiotherapist by translation and follow up on the 5 post-operative centers supported by ICRC in North of Lebanon and the Bekaa valley Helps define guidelines for physical rehabilitation Provides guidance on bed site training / post operative rehabilitation recommendation to the Physiotherapists / health staff in 5 post-operative centers Follow up on amputees to be fitted in the future physical rehabilitation centre Assures proper assessment of patient and the definition of the treatment plan in collaboration with the staff Organizes and conducts patient cares and decides all necessary adjustments during the treatment Assures all reporting duties Assures that the physiotherapy equipment is up to date, repairs, maintenance Participates in regular meetings with the expatriate physiotherapist and the health team Keeps up to date with new techniques and technology available for rehabilitation Ability to travel to Tripoli and the Bekaa valley, and stay overnight on a weekly basis Minimum required knowledge and experience   Ÿ  Registered Physiotherapist Ÿ  Requiring professional diploma or university degree Ÿ  3 - 5 years work experience in a similar field Ÿ  Very good knowledge of written and spoken English Ÿ  Very good computer skills
