  Responsibilities and tasks: The field officers will join a team working on the project to collect personal data of Missing persons, within the ICRC's protection & tracing department.    Their tasks will include: Conduct interviews with the families of the missing persons, following the personal data questionnaire on Missing persons Collect and accurately report the information (written report, quality control) Assist in the management of the individual paper files and in the overall reporting Help locating families of missing people Convey the adapted message on the project to the families of missing persons Cooperate to the smooth running of the overall data collection project (with the other ICRC colleagues and external participants)   Minimum required knowledge & experience: High Education (University or Institute), preferable related to Human Sciences Experience in a similar field of activity Arabic native speaker; very good knowledge of spoken and written English Good listening skills and ability to display empathy during interviews; good communication skills Capacity of treating information confidentially Rigor, method and analytical skills Capacity to adhere to and to implement procedures Experience in conducting group activities Ready to travel and work all overLebanon  Start of work: asap                    Working base:  Beirut, with fieldtrips all overLebanon Deadline to apply:29 May, 2013
