Responsibilities and tasks:
Contributes to the implementation and monitoring of specific projects / programmes within the dept
Performs various office works such as typing, filing, distribution, photocopies, updates of lists.
Assists colleagues in their daily tasks.
Drafts standard correspondence
Follows up on hospital contracts in terms of contract renewal and amendment.
Receives and verifies the hospitals bills from the contracted hospitals once the patient is discharged and enters the information in the system and files a summary of bills.
Files the patients' documents and keeps files up-to-date at all times
Pays the hospital bills on time and ensures necessary administrative work is implemented on time
Provides contributions to specific administrative reports related to the hospital bills and provides working advances for payment of bills
Enters payment information in the ICRC database
Provides financial statistics to the Health Coordinator
Performs any other administrative tasks required in the health department
Minimum required knowledge & experience:
High school or professional diploma
2 - 3 years work experience in similar function
Good knowledge of spoken English
Good computer skills
Familiar with medical terminology
