Mental Health & Pss Field Officer

Responsibilities and tasks:In collaboration with, and under the supervision of Mental Health Delegate (MHD), the Field Officer will:· Contribute to implement MHPSS activities.· Establish and maintain high quality relationships with members of the health team and protection team of the sub delegations.· Focus activities in line with the objectives of the delegation and ICRC Mental health Program.· Interpret Arabic/English accurately and translate documents as required.· Assure the assessment of patient and the definition of the treatment plan· Carries out the psychotherapy techniques according to the treatment plan· Recognizes problem / complications during the implementation of the treatment plan and informs accordingly· Completes patient file and patient statistics · May contribute support and training for the staff Minimum required knowledge & experience:Ÿ Requiring professional diploma or university degree (clinical psychology)Ÿ 3 - 5 years work experience in a similar fieldŸ Good knowledge of written and spoken English, French is an asset Ÿ Good computer skills
