Warehouse Officer - Tyr

Warehouse duties (80%) – Tyr and Marjeyoun

Receives and checks incoming goods against the delivery notes and reports any issues.

Ensures that goods are properly stored, picked, packed and loaded and reports any issues.

Ensures that all the stored goods are properly labelled (expiry dates, batch numbers, manufacturer, etc…) and recorded.

Weights and tallies goods during loading and unloading.

Updates bin cards and stock cards when supervising an inventory transaction.

With the assistance of the logistician 3, organize the inventory and participate in inventory counts.

Keeps the facility’s equipment and material neat, clean and orderly and reports any issues.

Where required, ensures that temperatures are properly recorded and supervised.

Ensures that risks are mitigated by performing the controls assigned to his/her role as described in the Logistics Risk and Control Matrix

Uses of the main ICRC logistic tools (JDE/Iris, Team space, Outlook, Word, Excel)

Light vehicle driver duties (20%) – On request by Dispatcher

Drives light ICRC vehicles to transport people and/or material in strict adherence to internal security rules and national traffic laws.

Immediately reports accidents, defects and/or missing equipment’s to management.
