Video Production Project - IFRC MENA, Lebanon

Purpose:

The purpose of the staff onboarding video is to acquaint new hires and existing staff within IFRC or NS/PNS with IFRC’s history, mission, culture and get them up-to-speed with the process. It is a tool to be used to communicate the federation’s role, core values, provide a glimpse of what to expect and introduce them to their fellow staff members.

Main Responsibilities:

  • A final script for the IFRC MENA HR Onboarding video
  • About 80-minute-long video approved by IFRC MENA, with both English and Arabic subtitled versions, consisting of three sections
    • Who we are? – about 30 minutes
    • What we do? IFRC MENA – about 30 minutes
    • Working with us – about 20 minutes
  • Raw footage shot while producing the video
  • The working files of the edited final product
  • IFRC will have the copyrights for the developed materials as well as unrestricted authorization to modify, reuse and repurpose both the raw footage as well as the final product

Needed Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in film editing or related degree is required
  • Professional mastery of video and audio shooting and editing software and programs.
  • Solid knowledge of educational video production
  • The needed equipment and software for shooting and editing the videos
  • Skills to produce small animations, such as maps, to support the messages on the video
  • High-quality work samples that can be shared with IFRC
  • Excellent written and spoken English as well as excellent written Arabic

N.B: Video production companies can be considered during the selection phase.

Timeframe and Location:

The IFRC MENA HR Onboarding video is expected to be finalized and accepted by 15 July 2021.

The successful consultant/company is required to be based in Beirut, applicants requiring travel to/from Beirut will not be considered due to risks and limitations due to Covid-19.

Budget:

The total proposal for the consultancy shall include fees and reimbursable costs for expenses incurred.

Financial proposal shall form part of the contract agreement signed by both the IFRC and the Consultant.

How to Apply

IFRC, requests submissions from the Consultant by 2 June, 2021 addressed to: IFRC MENA office - hr.mena@ifrc.org of:

  • Resume 
  • Expression of Interest: 1-3 page technical and one page financial proposals as per below guidelines.

Interviews may form part of the selection process if necessary, after analysis of the technical and financial proposals.

 Technical Proposal

  • Provide understanding of tasks as indicated in the TOR.
  • Share the documentation of previous work done as relates in recent 5 years.
  • Tentative workplan with working days for main activities and dates for milestones.

Financial Proposal

The financial proposal should include all costs necessary for the consultant to effectively complete the tasks as per the TOR.
